Bob Richardson dedicated his life to improving the lot of timber workers and all rural and regional Australians.

Bob Richardson was an outstanding supporter of timber workers, their families and their communities. Bob passed away on October 12th and a memorial service was held for him in Mansfield on October 24th. The service was a fitting tribute to Bob's extraordinary life of support for working people and their families, particularly those living in the bush.

Speakers at the memorial service included colleagues from his days with the ACTU, where Bob was employed as an Industrial Officer, and the Trade Union Training Authority, where Bob educated Union members and delegates. Representatives from Timber Communities Australia, the Bush Users Group, the Mountain Cattlemen's Association, Push for the Bush, Plug the Pipe and Push for the Bush all spoke at the servise and paid tributes to Bob's sefless work on behalf of regaional Australians.

CFMEU FFPD National Secretary Michael O'Connor spoke at the service about Bob's work and his deep commitment to improving the lot of timber workers.

He will be sorely missed by all Officials and members of the CFMEU FFPD.
