Receivers have now been appointed to part of the Tasmanian company, Forest Enterprises Australia. FEA appointed its own administrators yesterday but the Commonwealth and ANZ banks have moved further and appointed receivers to investigate FEA's finances.

Tasmanian timber company Forest Enterprises Australia (FEA) has failed to obtain refinancing for its $216 million debt.

The uncertainty continues for up to 50 sawmill workers at FEA who previously worked at Auspine, however the Union is meeting with the administrators and is hopeful that the company will be continuing following a six week review.
