The claims arose after it was discovered that the company was not paying the correct shift loading under the Furnishing Industry National Award for night and weekend shift workers.
The 53 workers who will benefit from the settlement on average will receive $7,000 each, with the company required to pay $60,000 in legal costs to the Union.
The Solicitor for the CFMEU, Kelvin Reidy, said that 'the outcome was an excellent result for low paid vulnerable workers who, if not for their membership of the CFMEU would not have had a chance of getting the money they were owed.'
