Call for community campaign on paper fight

29 March 2010, 1:43pm

The Union has joined with local council and community representatives in supporting a call for a community campaign to urge the Federal Government to reverse its decision to revoke anti-dumping duties on cheap toilet paper imported from Indonesia and China.

The future of the Millicent plant is at risk due to the Government's decision.

Wattle Range Mayor Mark Braes said;

"This is incredibly urgent - a lot of people are worried sick and we want to look at how they can have their say."
